Edinburgh At Night

Edinburgh is one of the most picturesque cities in the world. It attracts a lot of tourists each year to the narrow streets, attractions and amenities that make this city one of the best in the world. Lets take a closer look at what Scotland’s capital city has to offer.

Edinburgh during the day is a delight. The hustle and bustle of tourists visiting many attractions like Edinburgh Castle, The Playhouse for a show and the abundance of bars and restaurants on every corner.

Edinburgh at night is different. It becomes magical even medieval. Take time along the cobbled streets and lose yourself. You genuinely feel as if you’ve transported to 200 years earlier as a lot of city hasn’t changed a great deal over time.  Venture to the old town to feel as if you’ve arrived in 1812.  The New Town is great too for some Georgian architecture. Edinburgh at New Year is something to behold too. Hogmanay in Edinburgh   is simply the best in the world. Countless events will be on in the city to keep you occupied and the biggest highlight has to be the fireworks display that takes places from the castle that can be seen from most points in the city. The historic Old Town is where it’s at on Hogmanay.

However you decide to spend your time in Edinburgh, see it at night for a different perspective.
